Chester Design, LLC is a landscape architectural firm founded in 2005 to provide landscape design services.
Founder and principal, Frances Chester, has over 25 years of experience as a landscape architect. She is a licensed landscape architect in the states of Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. In 2012 she obtained a Certificate in Healthcare Garden Design from the Chicago Botanical Garden. Her work experience includes large commercial and institutional projects, as well as private residences. Since 1991 her work has focused exclusively on residential projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
In her work she strives to deliver high-quality, detail-oriented designs that treat the outside living environment as carefully as the interior living space of her client’s residences. She does this by developing a program based on the characteristics of the individual properties and her client’s personal tastes and lifestyle. This program serves as the basis for the design of the project. The end result is a unique design tailored to the individual client and their property.
